In my house, there are Centipedes and there are Spiders. 

I try to leave Centipedes alone, because supposedly they will eat Spiders. 

I try to leave Spiders alone, because hopefully they will eat Centipedes. 

Hopefully my supposed hopes will culminate in a house that supposedly Centipede- and Spider-free.
