Part I

The second-to-last-night in Florida we spent at the beach.
Beatrice did her favorite thing: wander quickly and quietly in circles, chase birds, and occasionally disappear from view. She also found a friend her size and stole, ah, borrowed his shovel for a little bit, before being made to return it.

Elvie had insisted she did not want to swim, so did not have a suit on. She was thus stranded on the shore with the littles, but her heart was in the waves, I think.

Eldore filled his swimming quota and then spent the rest of the time on the shore, digging in the sand and splashing in puddles.

The Three Bigs spent all their time in the water with Jeremy. It is amazing to me to think how much bigger they are compared to the last time we were at the beach. As far as I can remember, the last time we went was when I was pregnant with Eldore.

What beautiful pictures of a beautiful day at the beach. You can feel the innocence and joy sparkling in every one.
