SO, the bathroom is going well, but I’ve been sidetracked from finishing the painting by trying to get everything together for our jaunt to Europe this Sunday (ack!) Hopefully I’ll be finishing that tonight after the boys are in bed (a cup of coffee, a paintbrush, and a podcast–a dream evening for me). In the meantime, I’m dumping here all the conundrum of picking a shower curtain. A friend asked on my pinterest board for the room, very appropriately: “How will you pick?!” I have been asking myself the same question.
I’ve wanted something graphic, kind of simple, unique, and not a pattern/solid color. I have a few sites that are my favorites for finding home decor that fits that criteria, and I found a few that I love. But choosing one? Just one? It’s a birthday present, so yes, just one.
So I’m turning to you. Here’s the curtains and kind of pointless blurbs about them. Then there’s a poll at the end so the Internet can make a decision for me. Ready? OK.

This one is my favorite in terms of the style and the quote. I like having words around, displayed, and I think this quote is pretty appropriate for a boy’s bathroom. (Adventures and Winnie-The-Pooh and all.) What I don’t like about it is that it’s black and white, and I’d really like something with color in it, I think. Plus we listen to the Winnie-The-Pooh audiobooks fairly frequently, and I cannot for the life of me recall hearing this quote before, nor can I find (via brief googling) which story it’s found in. So I kind of get the feeling that it’s a misquote.

Sharon, Lois & Bram’s Elephant Show! Can you help but sing along in your head when you see this one? I like that it’s colorful, though I’m not sure it’s the right colors.

How about a bug? I love the colors on this, and that it’s a huge insect, which would probably thrill Clive to no end.

This one is probably my favorite in terms of color. I love all of those colors. This one would be picked pretty much for the greens. The kids probably wouldn’t care about it much.

I think this one is fun, and the boys would like it…I guess that’s all I have to say about it.

Finally, a different color! Also, a Bible verse, which would be a great way to start and end the day.

Oh, how I wish this one didn’t look like a brown paper sack. But it would be a nod to the beige floors, and again, what a great prayer to start and end the day with.

When the bathroom was first remodeled, Jeremy and I promised each other we would not bring in any fish, beach, or sea related decor. (I can’t recall why.) That’s the only thing that holds me back from this one.

Breaking the no-sea-related-decor promise again, but I think this one is my favorite all-around. The watercolor is great, it’s interesting for the boys, and I like that the background is off-white and not stark white.
Got it? Got a favorite?
