I’m trying to piece things back together after weeks and weeks of being out of commission. Writing here has not been a priority…not even to add Anselm’s monthly updates, two of which I’ve missed, and one of which I’ll make up here in the next couple of days, if I can manage to drag my camera out.
I’ve spent the past few days wondering how to catch up with everything I’ve not been able to do. Finding my feet with housework again. Trying to start making real food again. Starting to read aloud with the kids again. Wondering how to move forward with a four-year-old who is starting to sound out words. Wondering how much to worry about the eighteen-month-old who doesn’t like to talk. Wondering when I’m actually going to be able to go through those 1000-something pictures I took during our trip to Europe–I still haven’t even looked at two-thirds of them.
I started a bullet journal today, hoping it will aid me in making sense of picking up pieces, because I’m sort of slightly overwhelmed. Slightly.

So good to read you again.
Carrie says
Yah for starting the journal! Let me know how you like it!
